Carriage
Carriage will be charged on nett invoice less than:
- £200 England & Wales
- £250 Scotland
- £600 Ireland, Scottish Isles, Channel Isles, Isle of Man.
- Carriage consignments up to 10kg will be charged at £0.50 per kilogram
- Inverness and above (Scottish highlands) charged as above plus £15.00 surcharge
Price changes
Bathex reserves the right to alter prices without notice.
Specification of goods
Bathex reserves the right to improve specification without prior notice.
Settlement terms
Nett monthly account.
VAT
VAT will be charged on all products at current rate, at the date of invoice.
Restocking of goods
Goods cannot be returned unless prior negotiation has taken place, in writing. A handling and restocking charge will be imposed.
Cancellation of orders
Cancellation of any order will not be accepted, unless prior negotiation with Bathex has taken place.
Charges may be made for any work undertaken prior to cancellation.
Alteration of orders
Can only be accepted prior to manufacture. Charges will be made for any work carried out after manufacture has commenced.
Bespoke orders
Orders made to customer specifications will be quoted for on application, these cannot be cancelled once manufacture has commenced. Special orders once delivered cannot be returned.
Claims for damaged goods or short deliveries
The company must be advised within 3 days of receipt of goods.
Wet and damp areas
We suggest that stainless steel or brass based products are used in wet areas:
I.e. shower rooms, bathrooms and poorly ventilated and/or damp rooms.
In these areas we recommend products made from mild steel should NOT be used in these areas.
Title ownership of goods
Title and ownership shall not pass to the purchaser until payment has been received in full and cheques have been cleared.
